Traveling is a big part of skateboarding, but it was never easy - until now. Skaters have had it tough - from battling with multiple bags to not being taken seriously at check-in - so we decided to do something about that. The Db Skate Duffel Bag allows skaters to carry everything they need - a complete board, extra decks and other essentials - in one sleek, stylish bag.
Why Skate?
At Db we simplify travel through clever design. We did it for Surf, we did it for Snow and we did it for Photography. Skate has been on our radar for a while, but we took our time to gather the right resources to help us move into this space.
Over a chance conversation around photography with Ashley Rehfeld, a key figure in the Nike Skate program, we struck a common bond over the need for better language and bags for skateboarding. By the end of the call she’d convinced us to start prototypes and before we knew it we had a new, exciting category to the Db name. Ashley has the blueprint to the industry and we’re incredibly lucky to have her on board as an advisor.
Db Skate is about progression and we’ll continue to listen to the community to build for the future. Say hello to the new standard in Skate travel.

Ishod emerged on the scene at a young age with his raw speed, style and big bag of tricks.In the film Real - Since Day One (2011) he came out with a breakthrough part which put him straight in the pro rank. Since then he’s featured in loads of influential skate videos, shaping the industry and pushing the levels. He is known as an ATR (All Terrain Ripper), skating everything that comes his way from transitions to the streets. Ishod is now one of the most sought after professional skaters in the world and we’re incredibly proud to have him as part of the Db family.
Hometown: Malmø, Sweden
Sarah is known for her clean, stylish and timeless skateboarding. While attending the famous high school, Bryggeriet, in Malmo, Sweden, she was exposed to the city’s culture of creativity. She’s different to your typical skater - equally as obsessed with her camera as she is with her board. She’s about self expression in all its forms - whether that’s through photography, editorial work or skateboarding. Sarah is a pioneer for women in the skate community and the perfect fit for Db.
Hometown: Copenhagen, Denmark
Hugo steadily built his career over the years with Call Me 917, with a lot of crusty NYC footage. Now he skates for Limosine skateboards funded by Cyrus Bennet and Max Palmer. He makes the most rugged skate spots look fun and easy, which is truly an art form. Proud to have a unique rider like Hugo a part of our team.
