Beatrice Domond. Loved for her unique, slightly vintage style, she sees skateboarding as an art form and not just a sport.

Beatrice Domond is a figurehead of skating. She was the first female to earn a spot on Supreme’s skate team and the first black female skater to have a signature shoe with Vans. She’s leaving her mark on street skating in a big way, and giving young, black girls someone to look up to as she goes.

“Skateboarding is art. Even the scratches on your board – each one is different.”

Skateboarding influences every facet of Beatrice Domond. She eats, sleeps and breathes life on four wheels. It transcends everything she does, from the art she creates and absorbs to the music she listens to, to the clothes she wears – the latter mainly because she wants to be comfortable when she rides.

Growing up on videos like Zoo York Mixtape and Compost, Beatrice always romanticized the urban skate scene. So, it came as no surprise to her friends and family when she moved from Florida to NYC to pursue skating. It also wasn’t a surprise that the move paid off. Big time. In 2022, she became the first woman to join Supreme’s skate team and in 2023, she became the first black woman to have a signature shoe with Vans. If that wasn’t enough, she also released a photography book – Fly on the Wall – a deeply personal look at her travels, her friends, and her skate life. Beatrice’s successes are coming through thick and fast; the next logical step would be a transition into creative direction for a fashion brand but she’s in no hurry. She knows the path will eventually form in front of her and for now is just enjoying the ride. And, to be honest, so are we.
