Thank you, for 2022.

Recently on stage, I was asked about my favorite moment from 2022. 

I turned silent for what felt way too long in a setting like that. Like I had nothing to say. However, the matter of fact was that I found it impossible to select one single moment.
My favorite “moment” from 2022 was a feeling, and I got it from you.

We hosted some of our biggest events in 2022 to celebrate that the world was able to open its doors again. It enabled me to meet our community face-to-face - something I hadn’t been able to do for two years. I was talking to Marcello Viera, Sage Erickson, Craig Anderson, Chris Burkard, Olav Stubberud, and you. I was reminded that our mutual creative energy and passion for journeys deeply connect us, and it is this feeling of community, united by the Db brand and mentality, that are my favorite moments from 2022. 

We officially ended Db 1.0 at Hoddevika this summer - the place where it all started a decade ago. At the same time, we kicked off Db 2.0. Knowing how incredible the first chapter of Db has been, I find it almost insane to say that I genuinely believe the next chapter of Db will be an even crazier ride as we continue to evolve our brand, mindset, and community worldwide. 

I could not be more excited to embark on this next chapter with you.
